how to write grant proposals, identifying and working with foundations.
Participants will produce a grant proposal as a result of the

and practical tools necessary to enhance your knowledge of the field via
lectures, discussion and experiential simulation workshops on personal
solicitation, planning fundraising events, corporate sponsorships,
internet web site and email fundraising. Upon finishing the course,
graduates receive diplomas certifying their participation in the course.
After the course: Graduates
are provided with information about openings in the field of

entered the field or advanced their position. Graduates have uniformly
indicated that they gained much practical and helpful experiential
information and a fair number have gained employment or enhanced their
career in part due to the course.
Dates: The
course will begin on Wednesdays, starting the 27th of June, and will
continue once every other week (the tentative dates for the remaining sessions are the 11th and 25th of July and the 8th and

16:30-20:00. Due to the number of participants, all final dates will be decided during the first session so as to make sure that everybody can participate in all sessions.

See
what one student from the Jerusalem class has to say:
With
two sessions down, David's Jerusalem class on grantwriting/fundraising is at
full speed ahead. He has discussed the form of grantwriting, and each of us in
the class had portions of our grant-in-progress critiqued in class.
From
the organization background do's and don’ts to how to prepare a budget, David's
class has given us a new confidence in their ability to prepare a formal grant.
We
still have four class sessions left where we will cover events, corporate, and
internet fundraising. At the end of the course, we will have a certificate of
completion as well as enhanced knowledge and skills in fundraising and
grantwriting.
