Why should you bother? The conference will discuss the adoption of a professional certification process which will affect those of us already working in the field as well as those of you just entering the field in terms of training requirements.
Furthermore, it is very important that our voices for high professional and ethical standards be heard to overcome the negative publicity that some nonprofits have generated as a result of unethical practices.
