Job opportunity -Director of Resource Development

We are seeking a Director of Resource Development for our client, Mechinat Or Me’ofir for a half-time position

Job Description:

·         Developing  and updating database on foundations

·         Preparing and sending grant proposals in English and Hebrew

·         Tracking proposals and sending follow-up reports

·         Cultivating relationships with donors and welcoming visitors

·         Soliciting private donors and the business sector

·         Public relations including writing texts for the website and producing publicity material

·         Developing additional ideas for fundraising purposes

Requirements:

1.    Experience of at least 4 years in resource development including writing grant proposals with proven fundraising success of securing at least 10 grants and direct gifts

2.    Computer savvy; experienced with  Internet, Word and Office

3.    English and Hebrew skills at mother-tongue level (writing, reading and speaking)

4.    “Rosh Gadol” and creative
