- Full- time (5 days a week), in- house position (in Kiryat Ye’arim facility)
- Developing and updating database on foundations
- Preparing and sending grant proposals in English and Hebrew
- Tracking proposals and sending follow-up reports
- Cultivating relationships with donors and welcoming visitors
- Soliciting private donors and the business sector
- Public relations including writing texts for the website and producing publicity material
- Participating in events and board meetings
- Organizing special events including ceremonies, parties and fundraising events
- Updating the website
- Developing additional ideas for fundraising purposes
Requirements:
- Experience of at least 4 years in resource development including writing grant proposals with proven fundraising success of securing at least 10 grants and direct gifts
- Experience in organizing events and conferences
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team
- Computer savvy; experienced with Internet, Word and Office
- English and Hebrew skills at mother-tongue level (writing, reading and speaking)
- “Rosh Gadol” and creative
