בליל שבת, ישבתי בדירתה של שכנתי יחד עם כלתה הטרייה. תוך כדי שיחה קלה, שאלתי אותה אודות עבודתה. ידעתי כי אישה צעירה זו, למרות הכשרתה הרבה בתחום תכנות מחשבים, התקשתה במציאת עבודה. לאחר חודשים רבים של חיפוש, סוף סוף מצאה תעסוקה.

האם אני מכירה אותם? עבורם כתבתי אין סוף בקשות לקרנות, מכתבים וחומר פרסומי. בוודאי שאני מכירה אותם! כמובן שאני יודעת במה הם עוסקים! בטח שאני מכירה את התוכנית שלהם להכשרת עובדים ע"י המעסיק!

1) ניהול קשר עם קרנות, גורמים ממשלתיים, ותורמים גדולים.

•  איתור מקורת מימון ושותפים כולל מכרזים ועמותות אחרות.
•  פיתוח קשר עם המחליטים של אותם מקורות מימון
•  הכנות בקשות ומסמכים עבור הקרנות.
•  הגשת הבקשות, וקשר שוטף עד לקבלת המענק ו/או בירור מעמיק על סיבת הסירוב
•  הכנת דיווחים עבור אותם קרנות אחרי אישור קבלת תמיכה
•  פיתוח רמת השותפות והקשר עם הקרנות.

2) ניהול מאגר התורמים

•  אחריות על טכנולוגיה
• איסוף נתונים על תורמים, מידע מקיף אודותם
•  תיעוד שוטף של תרומות ו/או ממשקים עם התורמים.
•  איתור תורמים פוטנציאלים עבור כל קמפיין מתוך מאגר המידע של העמותה וממקורות אחרים.
•  ניתוח מגמות וכד'

3) טיפוח תורמים

• סיווג התורמים ומעקב אחרי הקשר עם סוגי תורמים שונים.
• בניית תוכנית טיפוח וניהול תהליך הטיפוח

4) הכנת חומר שיווקי

• הכנת חומר שיווקי בעברית ובאנגלית בשביל קשר ישיר עם סוגי התורמים וגם עבור הקמפיינים בשיתוף מנהל הקמפיינים.
• הכנת חומר שיווקי עבור אתר האינטרנט של העמותה.

Hakshiva is a non-profit, full-service organization committed to helping distraught parents, at-risk children, disenfranchised youth, and shattered families to re-build healthy, successful and joyous lives. Our primary aim is to help prevent children from falling through the cracks, by providing mentors and tutors, helping parents facilitating appropriate school placements, and providing subsidized counseling by qualified therapists. We also offer programs for teens in distress including supervised drop-in centers and group programming.

1) Management of contact with foundations, government agencies, and major donors.
A) Identifying potential funders and partners including tenders and other organizations.

B) Build contact and development plan for these different types and manage the cultivation process.

4) Preparation of marketing material
A) Preparation of marketing material in Hebrew and English for direct contact with the different types of donors and for campaigns in cooperation with the campaign manager.
B) Preparation of text and other items for the web site.

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Society's 35th Conference - This Year in Jerusalem!

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Society's 35th Conference is the leading genealogy event of the year for people researching their Jewish family history. Only once a decade is this annual conference held in Jerusalem.

Taking advantage of the incredible resources in Jerusalem, conference participants can link with others researching their extended families or their home towns in the old country. Leading genealogy software companies will be present and the conference provides an opportunity to access data bases on site including Yad Vashem, The Museum of the Diaspora, Keren Kayemet Golden Books, Ancestry.com, MyHeritage.com, FamilySearch.org, JewishGen.org and others.

Conference Chairman, Michael Goldstein, a Jerusalem genealogical researcher and IAJGS Conference Chairman believes that "Jewish genealogy is an excellent bridge to personalize Jewish people-hood, history, identity and continuity. The IAJGS conference offers a major opportunity for teachers, researchers, hobbyists and novices to explore their Jewish roots and build their family trees."  The Conference features over 200 programs, simultaneous translation in multiple languages, and some 800 attendees from more than 15 countries.
