The Threefold Cord (Hut Hameshulash) is a lifeline for hundreds of street youth in Jerusalem. The Threefold Cord also operates two shelters in Jerusalem for homeless young men and women. All residents are engaged in an individually tailored rehabilitation plan, or are employed in one of the Jerusalem businesses affiliated with the Amuta. About 80% of the residents succeed in becoming self-reliant and productive within one year.
The goal of The Threefold Cord is to provide for the needs of street youth and to give them the love and understanding they need to make behavioral changes, by which they will come to care for themselves and take charge of their future.
