EVEN FIRST-TIME GRANT WRITERS CAN GET RESULTS

Our congratulations to Ayelet Myers, who announced last night at the final session of our Fundraising and Grant Writing course in Efrat that her first grant proposal ever has already won an allocation!

Ayelet wrote a proposal for a doll therapy program for AKIM-Jerusalem as part of the coursework and submitted it to the Dallas Jewish Teen Tzedakah Foundation. The teens voted to award $500 to the project.

Ayelet's reaction: "Oh wow!!!!! First grant awarded. Even if it's a small one, time for break out the champagne... Thanks for all your help in this course. - Ayelet"

Here is what another former class participant, Kim Bistrong, had to say about the course: "[David] Epstein's class was AMAZING... I highly highly recommend his class. I use all of his resources and it's also a good way to connect to others in the field. Definitely I'd do it again."

We have courses in Hebrew and English beginning in June. For more information see our website, call Bruria at 02-563-5965, or email her at bruria@israelgrants.com.
