Israeli non-profit organizations fundraising in the U.K. have always been in a difficult position. Unlike in the United States, where there are fundraising partners like American Support for Israel and P.E.F., the U.K. has never had a strategic or natural partner for Israeli organizations.
UK Toremet is a British charitable foundation established to help promote philanthropy in the UK, and to faciliate donating to Israel. It has committed itself, in partnership with IsraelGives, to helping you to fundraise successfully in the UK.
How will it work?
UK Toremet will serve as a "regranting" organization: donors will make their donations to UK Toremet, UK Toremet will issue a tax-deductible receipt to the donor, and then re-grant you the donated funds. Everybody wins: Your British donors receive a tax-deduction for their donation, and you receive the funds.
You can collect donations both online by credit card and offline by check or bank transfer. Online donations can be done through IsraelGives MYSITE donation system. When your donor makes a donation in Pound Sterling, he will automatically receive a tax-receipt, signed by UK Toremet. You can view the donation in real-time through your IsraelGives account.
